Michigan Tech's Residence Halls serve continuously From 7:00am until 9:00pm Monday through Friday and from 10:00am until 7:00pm Saturday and Sunday. 2012-2013 Meal Plans
Any time dining (unlimited access) in the residence hall dining rooms. No limit to the number of times you can enter a dining room to eat a complete meal, stop in for a snack, pop in for a pop (or do you say soda?) or catch a late lunch during our regular hours of operation. Unlimited Meal PlansResidential students must choose one of these plans, but the plans are also available to commuter and graduate students.
We provide all-inclusive dining at Wadsworth, McNair, and Douglas Houghton Halls during regular hours of operation. No need to track the number of meals used. All Meal Plans provide additional Dining Dollars which are accepted at the following retail operations: Campus Cafe' located in Wadsworth Hall, Aftermath Cafe' in Fisher Hall, the Library Cafe' located in the Van Pelt/Opie Library, the Memorial Union Foodcourt, Fusion in the Dow Building, the Husky Den Cafe' located in the Mont Ripley Ski Chalet, and in vending machines throughout campus. Each plan includes Guest Meal Passes, which allows the meal plan holder to treat a guest in Wadsworth, McNair, or Douglas Houghton dining centers. The meal plan holder must accompany the guest into the dining room and swipe their Tech Express card for themselves and their guest. It is against University policy to lend your Tech Express card to anyone. If you are a resident of one of the residence halls and do not choose a meal plan, you will be assigned the Gold Meal Plan. We highly recommend you Go for the Gold meal plan. It is our most popular plan and the best value. The number of Guest Meal Passes and Dining Dollars associated with each meal plan vary. Please check the table above for all the details to help make the best choice for you. If Meal Plan holders use all Guest Meals Passes and Dining Dollars they may purchase additional ones at the Tech Express located at the IT Service Center, on the first floor of the Van Pelt and Opie Library or by calling 906-487-3308. Guest meals expire at the end of each semester and Dining Dollars roll over from Fall to Spring Semester and expire at the end of Spring Semester.
